Thursday morning@ camp

We’re all tired despite a very good night for sleeping (beautiful weather).  I’m always amazed at the amazing number of bird calls I hear at dawn … it sounds like we’re sleeping in an aviary.

Several of our scouts have been faithfully attending “polar bear swim” at 7 am each morning … bbbbrrrrrr.

So far I’d say that the week has been pretty typical but also above average in terms of the scouts enthusiasm to pursue merit badges.  I hear them talking about becoming eagle scouts and what they’ll be working on next.

Tonight is our big Thanksgiving dinner … always a favorite at camp.

Bob S. is coming to camp today to stay thru the weekend.  The scouts like working with Bob so I’m confident that he’ll be besieged with scouts eager to show him the various projects that they’ve each completed.

Well its time to go check on the scouts and their progress.
