Friday@ Camp

Everyone is tired, but that’s not surprising is it?  Sleeping on a cot in the woods with the sounds of nature as loud as our “normal” traffic sounds back home isn’t our typical experience.

However, the scouts have also been very busy.  Swimming in the creek, jumping from a rock ledge, swooshing down the water slide, cooking, shooting range practice, woodcarving, leather crafting, practicing various scout skills and more.

We’ve been cleaning and organizing for tomorrow’s departure so that it goes smoothly.  We’ve also been waiting for rain to arrive after hearing thunder off in the distance for a while.

Looking forward to getting home, but we’ve got one more lesson to learn…follow thru on our commitment to camp.

See you tomorrow!
